3 Steps to a fun Facial Masks & Margarita Girls Night In!
Step 1 Invite your besties over for a girls’ night, better yet, invite someone new that needs to connect with a great group of friends like you!
Step 2 Open up your pantry and fridge to see what you have on hand or make a run to the store.
Step 3 Make a cool menu or use ours!
Then, with headband on head and margarita in hand, have a ball, we sure did!
The next day, I couldn’t believe how everyone commented on their skin. Some of the words my friends used to describe their skin after we removed the facial masks were soft, supple, clean and tight.
With all the following masks you will apply to clean, dry skin. Allow the facial masks to dry for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a washcloth and pat dry.
So here you go … the menu for Masks and Margaritas!
Rice Enzyme Mask
Benefit: Exfoliates, tightens, firms and lightens the skin.
Grind organic white rice in a coffee grinder until powdery with a tbsp or so of milk until you have a paste.
Honey and Yogurt Mask
Benefit: Sloughs off dead skin and moisturizes.
Mix together ½ cup of Greek yogurt and 2 tbsp of raw honey.
Benefit: Detox and purifies the skin.
Mix equal parts of clay with either water, yogurt or milk. Add a tbsp of raw honey to make it more moisturizing.
Benefit: Moisturizes, prevents wrinkles and leaves skin glowing.
Mash ¼ – ½ of an avocado (depends on the size) until there are no more lumps. Mix in a tbsp of milk and a tbsp of honey.
Avocado and Yogurt Mask
Benefit: Soothes very dry skin, prevents wrinkles and creates a glow.
Mash ¼ – ½ of an avocado (depends on the size) until there are no more lumps. Mix in ¼ cup of yogurt and a tbsp of honey.
Other add-ins to these masks you can add an egg yolk, an egg white, a whole egg, coconut oil, Vitamin E oil, powdered Vitamin C, and Aloe Vera.
Play around with the mixtures to get the right concoction for you!
All of these facial masks can be used up to three times a week.
Remember to apply Vitamin C serum, immediately following and allow it to dry.
Follow up with your favorite moisturizer or carrier oil i.e., olive oil, apricot oil, grapeseed oil, coconut oil, castor oil.
